Kollektiv Kaorle is a non-profit, interdisciplinary cultural association from Vienna that creates collectively managed and used spaces for art, craft, exchange, and social engagement. Its goal is to provide an open place where culture, craftsmanship, and the activation of public space can take place — always with a focus on collaboration, exchange, and mutual support.
Founded in 2020, the association now brings together around 70 members who collaboratively shape community spaces for art, craft, and social projects. Organized in working groups, they contribute diverse disciplines and experiences to create studios, rehearsal rooms, workshops for wood, metal, ceramics, and textiles, as well as a garden, event, and exhibition spaces. The collective actively supports FLINTA*, BIPoC, and structurally marginalized individuals.
Kollektiv Kaorle serves as a model for collaborative, sustainable use of culture and space — connecting art-, craft-, and community-oriented activities within the neighborhood and actively contributing to the local community.
